Yes. All foreign vehicles must register the vehicles’s Euro class and fuel type at www.autopass.no/ed in order to be charged the correct rate by toll road operators with environmental differentiation. Failure to register will result in the highest rate in tariff group 1 or 2 being charged.
Without an AutoPASS-agreement:
For automatic road stations, the address is retrieved via the Central Motor Vehicle register,
which is updated via the population register / Brønnøysund Register.
